RecipeBrain Healthy Mediterranean Diet: Plum Tomato and Fresh Mozzarella Salad

Ingredients

  • 4 leaves of lettuce
  • 2 plum tomatoes, sliced
  • 2 ounces of fresh mozzarella
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 3 leaves of chopped, fresh basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Wash and dry lettuce and place on salad plate.
  2. Place tomato slices on top of lettuce.
  3. Follow with slices of mozzarella.
  4. Drizzle olive oil over the cheese, garnish with chopped fresh basil and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Makes 1 serving.
